Neither BMW nor we have commented on the iX3’s range estimates yet it’s too early for that but we do know that the Neue Klasse platform will use an 800-volt electrical architecture and a battery with up to 20% higher energy density than before. already in the production stage. We’re confident this will easily increase the iX3’s range to over 300 miles per charge, but we’ll have to wait for official data to know for sure, which we’ll report here. The power output is expected to vary between 275 horsepower for the entry-level iX3 40 and at least 560 horsepower for the iX3 M60 xDrive.
