2025 Toyota Camry Engine
The 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid offers two hybrid powertrains, one for the front wheels and one for all four wheels. Front-wheel-drive vehicles have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors that combine to produce 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive models include a third motor that drives the rear axle, increasing the combined output to 232 horsepower. Both systems come with a continuously variable automatic transmission as standard. The powertrain is comparable to that found in the Toyota Prius, but with a 2.5-liter engine instead of the Prius’ 2.0-liter four.
